Dancing In a Classical Concert?
On August 30, 2006, pianist Stephanie Gurga and I did a faculty recital at DePauw University called "The Romantic Cello." As an experiment in bringing in and engaging a wider audience, we wore jeans and exempted everyone from the usual rules of concert etiquette.
